Adele: Celine Dion's Chewed Gum Is My 'Proudest Possession'

At least Adele can say she saved one piece of gum from a landfill-y demise.
Adele: Celine Dion's Chewed Gum Is My 'Proudest Possession'

Ahh, Adele, she's not just like us. However, it seems differences between us and the Grammy-winning singer span beyond the fact that we're (probably) not internationally beloved pop stars, can't write a hit single in 10 minutes, nor belt out a high D6 without sounding like a wounded animal and into our levels of fan-devotion, too, more specifically, whether we'd deem a piece of gum allegedly spit from the lips of Canadian crooner, Celine Dion, to be trash or treasure.

Yep, earlier this week, the singer partook in Vogue's “73 Questions” video interview segment, in which she shared her most “proudest possession” with the world – which just so happens to be exactly that -- a chewed, spit-out, and a framed wad of gum that was once purportedly chewed by Dion, an, erm, heirloom, for lack of a better term, gifted to her by late-night TV host (and sworn enemy to motorists in the greater Los Angeles area), James Corden.

“James Corden, who’s a friend of mine but also does ‘Carpool Karaoke,’ which I did, he did it with her and knew how much of a fan of hers I was,” she explained, proudly presenting the framed gum, which sat atop a piece of paper decorated with dollar signs. “And so he made her spit her gum into a piece of paper and framed it for me," she continued, a grin spanning across her face.

Well, folks, here's to Adele – at least she saved one piece of gum from a landfill-y demise?
